Delivery of kits within the UK will be either by Royal Mail or courier service. Kits are usually despatched at least a week in advanced of the workshop date. Kits for late bookings may need to be sent by special devilvery to ensure delivery before workshop date, however prior notice will be given if this is the case.

For kits that are need to be sent internationally please ask for postage charge.

Payment for workshops and kits is by bank transfer or PayPal invoice. Alternatively, most workshops are advertised on Eventbrite, so you can visit and pay via them.

The fee is for the booked workshop. Any kit paid for includes all the materials required, and the majority of equipment and any specialist items. You will need to provide some basic equipment, details of which are confirmed at time of ordering. This may involve providing your own rulers, pencil, scissors, iron, ironing board. If you do not order a kit you will be sent a list of the materials and equipment you will need to provide.

For International deliveries please request a price for shipping. Please note we cannot be responsible for payment of any local taxes or import duties.

Refunds and Exchanges

In the unlikely event that Graystone has to cancel a workshop we will give you as much warning as possible by contacting you on the email address you gave when you registered. We will happily refund the cost of the workshop (minus the cost of any kit already despatched) or transfer you to an alternative workshop (equal value).

Workshop fees are non-refundable once kits have been despatched, unless there are exceptional circumstances. If you have booked a workshop without a kit there will be a charge of 50% of the booking fee if cancelled within 7 days of the workshop and non-refundable if cancelled within 24 hours. However, you are more than welcome to rebook on another date or workshop (this may require additional payment if the alternative workshop costs more).

If there any problems with your kit once it arrives, please contact immediately so that it can be rectified or changed.


The materials and equipment supplied are safe to use, however do be mindful that the kits are not toys, should be kept out of reach of young children and should be used responsibly. While we encourage you to enjoy working with your kit, please keep in mind your own safety when using the materials and equipment provided and also your own equipment.

Graystone is not responsible for operation or use of any materials and equipment used in making your items. Use of the kits is at your own risk – Graystone has no liability in their use.

Force Majeure

Graystone will not be liable or pay compensation or damages if our contractual obligations to you are affected by any event which we cannot, even with all due care, foresee or avoid. This includes but is not limited to; war, or threat of war, strikes, riot, civil strife, industrial dispute, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions, technical problems affecting transport or any similar events beyond our control.
